Detrás Co. ("Detrás Co.," "we," "us," or "our") operates detrasco.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only, not to any service, tool, or platform we may use on your behalf once you become a client, which is instead governed by that engagement's own terms.
1. Information We Collect
Information you submit. If you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and, optionally, which services you're interested in. We don't collect anything else through the Site, we don't require an account, and we don't process payments on the Site.
Information collected automatically. Like any hosted website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs standard technical information when you visit the Site: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. This is server-level logging used for security and reliability, not behavioral tracking.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics, deployed through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the Site: which pages get viewed, how people arrive, and whether they submit the contact form. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects information such as your approximate location (city-level, from IP address), device and browser type, and the pages you visit. We don't use this data to identify you individually, and we don't run advertising pixels or cross-site ad tracking. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's cookie or tracking-protection settings. 2. How We Use Your Information
We use contact form submissions for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if it moves forward, to scope and deliver marketing services. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't rent, sell, or trade it to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a small number of third-party services to run the Site and process inquiries:
- Formspree processes contact form submissions and may use minimal technical cookies for spam prevention. Formspree's own privacy practices apply to that processing; see Formspree's privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the Site and handles standard server logging described above.
- Hostinger hosts the email inbox that receives form submissions.
- Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) provides the analytics described in Section 1. Google's own privacy practices apply to that processing; see Google's Privacy Policy.
We don't share your information with any other third party except as described here or as required by law.
4. Third-Party Links
Our blog links to outside news sources, research, and data (for example, industry reports we cite). Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control and this policy doesn't cover. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the Site, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We can't guarantee absolute security, and you submit information at your own risk.
6. Data Retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the life of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for our own records. You can request deletion at any time; see Section 7.
7. Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@detrasco.com. We'll honor reasonable requests promptly. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, see Section 1. We don't run behavioral advertising on the Site, so there's no separate ad-preference setting beyond that.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business use by adults and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email hello@detrasco.com and we'll delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Site or our practices change. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
